How to get to red valley?
We kick off our journey from Cusco, embarking on a scenic drive that spans about 3 and a half hours. Along the way, we’ll be treated to breathtaking views of nature’s finest landscapes. Our destination? The trailhead awaits us at 3800 meters above sea level. Once we arrive, we’ll gear up and step into one of the most astonishing landscapes on our planet. From there, it’s an exciting three-hour trek to reach the vantage point 5050 meters above sea level overlooking the stunning Red Valley of Peru. Brace yourself for magnificent views as we immerse ourselves in the crimson-hued mountains and valleys stretching out before us.

ITINERARY
Let’s get this adventure started bright and early! We’ll swing by to pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 3:00 am, ready to embark on an exciting journey ahead. Buckle up and settle in for a scenic 3-hour and 30-minute bus ride, where you’ll be treated to the charming sights of colorful villages and breathtaking landscapes along the way. Despite the length of the journey, every moment will be filled with rewards as we soak in the beauty of our surroundings together.
Once we arrive at the trailhead, it’s time to gear up for our day’s hike, which will last approximately 3 to 4 hours. If you’re feeling adventurous, there’s also the option to rent horses or motorcycles from the local community members, adding an extra layer of excitement to our expedition.
As we ascend towards the viewpoint of the Red Valley, prepare to be mesmerized by the awe-inspiring beauty that unfolds before your eyes. Take your time to soak in the panoramic scenery, capturing unforgettable moments with your camera and immersing yourself fully in this natural wonder.
After our exploration, we’ll make our way back to the van station, where we’ll hop on board and head to our lunch spot. It’s time to refuel with a delicious meal, savoring the authentic flavors of the region and swapping stories of our adventures along the way.
With our bellies full and our hearts content, we’ll begin our journey back to Cusco, arriving around 4:00 pm. We’ll make sure to drop you off safely at your hotel, leaving you with cherished memories of our unforgettable day in the Red Valley.
