CUSCO TOURS - BEST DAY TOURS

EXCELENTE A base de 326 reseñas Publicado en Nick BVerificada Idyllic and Perfect Day (NO TOURISTS IN SIGHT!) Oh man. What an incredible day. RM Expeditions is run, managed, and guided by someone who grew up in the surrounding communities, so for such an over-touristed destination, you’re really getting an authentic local experience. Tip: check out their website and find the rainbow mountain you don’t see listed on any other operator’s site. It’s what my father and I opted for, and oh are we glad we did… we didn’t see a single other tourist the entire day, and unabashedly explored idyllic unbelievable beauty up close and personal. Nothing compares. It was perfect. Thank you for an amazing day!!!Publicado en Sandra LVerificada ATV tour of rainbow mountain Our amazing guide Alex picked us up early at 3am. It was well worth the early start as we had the mountain to ourselves. There was only four of us on the tour so it was an awesome experience. Alex was very knowledgeable and is also a great photographer and knew how to capture the best shot. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour. The ATV’s made the high altitude manageable as you only had to walk a short distance.Publicado en Gary MVerificada ATV Tour of Rainbow Mountain We left our hotel in Cusco at 3.00am for the 3hr journey to Rainbow Mountain. The sun was just rising when we arrived into the starting point for our ATV ascent of the Mountain. The ATV's are supplied by the family that own the farm at the base of the Mountain. A quick check we could ride the quad bike and we set off in the 15min - 20min ride to the base of the mountain. The last 15min was a walk to the peak. The ATV's take a separate path to the base from walkers and ponies. We were fortunate to have the peak to ourselves for 30min before others travellers arrived. The experience was surreal and the views beautiful. Our guide, Alex and driver, Daniel made the day very special imparting their local knowledge of the region. RM Expeditions were in regular contact throughout the booking and planning of the tour and at no time did we have any concerns, everyone ran smoothly. A credit to the organisation and the staff.Publicado en Zach RVerificada AMAZING experience! This was an AMAZING experience!! Roger was a great guide and Hernan was a skilled van driver. We only had half of a day to work with so we did the ATV tour where you get picked up in Cusco at like 3 am. We went in early February, it snowed lightly overnight so everything was white when we first arrived and within the next hour, most of the mountains and fields were so GREEN. Stopping at the restaurant for breakfast was really nice too.It was pretty cool to have the snow contrasting with all of the other colors. The views were amazing and it wasn’t at all crowded when we went. Although, I’ve seen videos of it being super busy! I definitely recommend coming during the offseason or as early as possible to avoid the crowds.Publicado en philip lVerificada Well organized tour! Did the horseback to rainbow mountain. They made the trip so easy, everything is well timed and well paced. You get to enjoy a delicious warm breakfast and lunch. I think most importantly being in a smaller car saves you a lot of time to go to the rainbow mountain.Publicado en Sasiwan SVerificada Thank you Roger for a great tour! The easiest way to experience Rainbow Mountain! Our guide Roger was very knowledgable and we were one of the firsts on the mountain which made it significantly easier for pictures. We chose to ride horses, just to give ourselves a break and it was a great way to still hit a highlight!Publicado en Debra RVerificada Hiked the rainbow mountain and hiked and rode a horse to all 7 lakes. Roger our guide was excellent. He told us things we never would have read in a book. He showed us things and interesting places along the way to the mountain. He took pictures of all of us and helped with any questions we had. I was so grateful to have Roger as our guide and Alex as our driver. The two of them worked really well together. I recommend the two of them for future trips. Roger hiked the entire mountain to all the 7 lakes. I was very impressed with him, and along the way he made time to take our photos. Bravo to Roger!Publicado en Christopher MVerificada Rainbow Mountain Expeditions ATV Tour w/Roger Rainbow Mountain Expeditions ATV Tour. Roger was great. Went on solo tour with Roger and driver. It was one of the most incredible days of my life. After a beautiful drive from Cusco up to the ATV base camp, I enjoyed a wonderful ATV ride to the base of Vinikunka. We were able to get extremely close to Rainbow Mountain after approaching from the east. While other ATVs were required to park far away, Rainbow Mountain Expeditions was able to park extremely close which resulted in the shortest hike to the viewpoint. There was plenty of time to enjoy the viewpoint. We left very early from the hotel in Cusco which meant there were no crowds. After enjoying the view and the llamas, we embarked on the 30 minute ATV ride back to base camp. Then enjoyed a breakfast buffet during the beautiful van ride back to Cusco. I highly recommend Roger and Rainbow Mountain Expeditions. I was a bit skeptical going on a solo tour, but Roger made me feel safe from the drive there to bathroom breaks to elevation concerns to ATV riding to food. I am soooo glad I embarked on this adventure. THANK YOU ROGER!!!!Publicado en Markus SVerificada Great experiences, gladly again! It was a breathtaking day trip with Rainbow Mountains Experience. Everything from the drive to the food to the hike to “Love Mountain” was just right. The enthusiasm with which the team around Roger prepared and designed everything was truly unique. Highly recommended.Publicado en Alba GVerificada 100% recommended Beautiful view and very good Guide Mr. Bernabe. We were picked up on time and were the first to reach the mountain. Breakfast after the tour was very good and complete. Booking was also easy to do. Excellent service!

If you want it go to the only rainbow mountain where you will be the only people there, except maybe a local dog who tagged along with us all day after getting g a piece of bread at breakfast, choose Rainbow Mountain Expeditions. We were the only tourists there. I’m serous! The only other people we saw and spoke to were local Sheppards. On our way there, we picked up fresh bread along the road, caught trout at a local trout farm and chicken from a local butcher. Breakfast was great. Lunch, prepared by Chef Edwin, was absolutely amazing. Chef Edwin certainly deserves the title “Chef,” and will no doubt own his one restaurant one day. Our guide, Roger, was knowledgeable and friendly. Our pace was perfect for my son and I. Hiking to 5,000 meters is no joke, but it’s not too steep anywhere. Roger generously shared his coca leaves, and I chewed them often. Bring at least 2-3 liters of water. It’s heavy at first but obviously gets lighter as you drink. I cannot recommend Rainbow Mountain Expeditions and our hike highly enough.Publicado en Shawn WestawayTrustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. Roger was our English-speaking guide for Machu Picchu. He was kind, patient and responded to all of our needs. His English is excellent and he was very knowledgeable about Peru’s history and the Incan Empire. He made sure we were all comfortable and our water and other needs taken care of before entering, which is very important. He paced all the stairs at a level we could all manage. Later he found a great restaurant in Aguas Caliente and dined with us before our trip home. His passion for his country’s history and great works was evident in all that we learned from him. I highly recommend him to all visitors to Peru, as I know he would be great in any sightseeing venue.Publicado en Peter BarrasTrustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. We had a fantastic day and Alex was brilliant as a guide Informative and fun. We were worried that the weather was going to spoil it but Alex urged patience (others were heading down after seeing nothing but cloud), and after an offering to Pacha Mama the clouds cleared for a great view. Highly recommend and ask for AlexPublicado en Rachana WolffTrustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. We did. two private Tours with Roger Mamani. The First to Humantay Lake and second to Rainbow Mountains. We had an unforgettable experience. Everything worked out really perfect. We had a lot of fun and we learned a lot about the Inca history. We recommend highly this service.Publicado en Jesenia SerranoTrustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. Roger is an amazing guide. We did a private tour to rainbow mountain, red valley, and lake huyatan. So personalized, no large groups of people to keep up with (we’re not avid hikers) and he was patient, helpful and kind every step of the way. He even helped my boyfriend coordinate his proposal on Rainbow Mountain! Thank you so much, Roger! Will recommend to everyone who visits! An added bonus- he takes amazing pictures and videos and goes out of his way to get an awesome shot!Publicado en Jyl KTrustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. The BEST tour company and guides in all of Cusco and the Valley. Their english is perfect and their passion for the history and culture of Peru and the Sacred Valley infectious. We absolutely loved our time with Roger and Hernon. They were prompt, kind, and got us to and from the mountain safely. It made my stressors go away! We did the 3am start from Cusco. I would highly suggest it! We were the first ones up there and had the mountain to ourselves. Since it is the colder season, we saw some snow but it added to the beauty. I would highly suggest anyone to use this tour company and go see this magical place!Publicado en Emily PaulsonTrustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. Roger was an amazing tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the history of Rainbow Mountain. We did the ATV tour and it was well worth it! It snowed the morning of our tour but it did not ruin the trip at all. If you are looking to do a Rainbow Mountain tour I would highly recommend Rainbow Mountain Expeditions.Publicado en Dean ChildTrustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. Roger was incredible, we went early and beat the crowd. The elevation is very high, so the atv ride up was very helpful. Very positive experience, probably the most beautiful mountains I’ve ever seen!
