ITINERARY

Low altitude: 4,650 m.a.s.l / 15,255feet.

The best rainbow mountain ATV tours begins with the pick up at your Hotel in Cusco at 2am, Then we go by a three-hour and half bus ride to the beginning of the trail which is at 4,650 m.a.s.l / 15,255feet.

During our bus journey we will drive by the most beautiful views of lakes, villages, valleys, rivers and mountains.

Once we get to the head trail and the quad-bikes are ready, we will do a short practice on how to driving the quad-bikes and basic safety.

Afterwards, we will start the ATV tour and drive our quad-bikes for approximately 25 minutes along which we will see the contrast between the snow on the top of the mountain and the red, violet and green stone colours of the mountains, we will also be able to appreciate the llamas and alpacas grazing in their natural habit.

You will get off the quad-bikes and leave them behind and make a short walk (5 minutes to the top of the rainbow mountain).

High altitude: 5050 m.a.s.l / 16,500 feet.

Up there we will get the most spectacular scenes that nature made during millions of years of engineering you will be witnessing the vibrant colors such as red, green, yellow and purple and the most importantly we will have the surreal views of surrounding mountains as far as your eyes can see. You will have 40 minutes to enjoy the views of rainbow mountain and for pictures.

Later, we will head back and drive back our quad- bikes for about 25 minutes.

After exploring the rainbow mountains on quad bikes, we are ready to drive back to the valley to have our breafast.

Next, we will head back to Cusco at around 12h30pm and drop you off at your Hotel.

VERY IMPORT INFORMATION

We leave as early as possible to avoid the crowds, there are about 2000 visitors every day.

As we are leaving very early, you will have the rainbow mountain by yourself, we will make sure that you will be one of the fisrt ones on top of the rainbow mountain.

We are limited giving you a 40 minutes of time on top of the rainbow mountain because the quad bikes are not ours, we hire them from community people (that is their rules that is why we are just giving 40 minutes on top of the rainbow mountain for you to enjoy the views and pictures). If the ATV quad bikes would be ours we can give as much time as you want we never rush you, we want to buy our own quad bikes but we are allowed to do so none of companies can do that (it is because the community people agreed that none of travel agencies can buy atv quad bikes, (that is their business)
