A fascinating tour of rainbow mountain and red valley tour in a day tour from Cusco.
We pick you up at your Hotel in Cusco city at 3:00am with our private transportation, after 2 and a half hours’ drive, we arrive to the trail head 4600 m/ we start the day as early as possible to avoid the sun during the ascent of a mountain pass and beat the crowds
Afterwards, we will start 2 hours hiking up hill, on our way we will observe the breathtaking landscapes finally, we will reach the top of the rainbow mountain 5 050 m/, from the top we will enjoy one of mountain’s most privileged views and contrast between the snow-capped mountain and red, green and purple sediment colors of the rainbow mountain, we will have plenty of time to take pictures of the fantastic landscape.
Later on, we will follow a different trail down and up to the red valley we will hike about 30 minutes to get to red valley to be dazzled with its incredibly beautiful red color.
After exploring the stunning red valley, we will walk back to the trail head where we will take our van back to the lunch place.
After lunch we are ready to get back to Cusco at around 2:30 pm.
